'Lost & Found' is a song about love & bad timing. About not being in the same place, so to speak, as the person you've fallen in love with. As I thought about this one day I had this image come to mind of a character (a medic) who traveled around with a biohazard cart & collected all of the broken, discarded hearts out there that had been "thrown away." The song started to take shape quickly from that point & I drew on some personal experiences for inspiration.
